This is the best school ever! I have 4 children. I started the first 2 in public school. My older child succeeded, but my younger child graduated from K on a Pre-K level. Then I sent the 3 older ones to a charter school. The 1st year was great, but the 2nd year was horrible for all 3. Lastly, I sent all 4 to CHCS North. It was the best choice that I and my husband ever could have made. We found out that our only son is ADHD and they worked with him to keep him on track with his peers and has been able to make and keep friends. We also found out through them that our oldest daughter has an Executive Functioning disorder (can't stay organized physically or mentally) and we are now able to get the help she needs. Everyone (and I do mean EVERYONE) has been so helpful, friendly, caring, supportive, etc. I could just go on and on about how great the faculty and staff are. To top it off, they offer a challenging academic curriculum that supersedes any other public or private school in the area and they offer plenty of extra curricular activities. They also make sure that the parents have every opportunity be involved in everything on the regular. This is truly the best school ever!!!

Both my kids went through this school. It is a great school. It prepared them well for a college Prep high school. I can see where some parents could have some issues with a couple of teachers a few years ago, but those have moved on to other schools.

Although my experience is with this campus- for my children and now a grandchild- there are many chances to share art, music, sports and field trips with the sister campus in Green. When checking details I became amazed that there were few recent reviews. I have already posted with CHCSouth stating that I have noted the efforts to meet the challenges in those years and see much improvement. The parents are very close and actively striving, and I see a very positive learning opportunity. Explore also the Green County campus (and see my additional comments -all positive.)

I am sorry to see the 1st review written in September 2007, as I would have to agree based on our experiences of the 2007-2008 school year. There are many wonderful aspects of CHCS, but there are several teachers who should not be there, and getting anyone to listen and act is very difficult. I would encourage families considering CHCS to observe teachers if possible and to be very proactive with meetings and getting answers.

Though a wonderful school in all aspects in the past, CHCS is currently suffering from some less than excellent teachers in a few grades as well as an attitude of apathy on the part of the principal. Parental concerns regarding these teachers have been repeatedly ignored. Besides these few concerns, most grades enjoy wonderful teachers, especially K, 1, and 6 grades. The music and Spanish programs are wonderful and provide stimulating extracurricular activities. Though a nice alternative to the local public education, there is certainly room for improvement.

Chapel Hill Christian School is an excellent choice for a quality Christian education! CHCS offers Pre-K through 6th grades. Each grade is involved with Spanish, music, art, library as well as various after school sports. Parents are highly involved with their children during Chapel, Principal's Club and various classroom activities. The teacher's are wonderful and invite parents to plan an integral part in their child's education. This is an outstanding school and a great opportunity for any child!

I'm so thankful we are able to send our kids here. Academics here are great but having a biblical teaching also and having caring, christian teachers to teach our children, what a blessing! The school over the past couple years have also added extra safety precautions and this is so much appreciated! The school has an excellant website, they are moving right along with technology which is a plus! Extracurricular activities are just the right amount, not too much at this age but enough to get them involved. This school has been and continues to be a great experience for our family.

I cannot imagine a better place to learn! The teachers are very good at communicating with the students. Parents are very involved! Though sometimes stern, the teachers have high standards that they expect the children to attain. My daughter loves to go to this school and frequently visits her teachers from previous years. She talks about their kindness and patience lovingly and respects them. I was excited to find a bible-centered education without the baggage I experienced in Catholic school as a child. I wish they would begin having classes for grades 7 and 8.
