Private school education thats free for the residents of the district. Never has had Pay to play sports. Wonderful arts and music programs. The highest and most advanced technology dept. A dream for parents with children that need small class size and AP courses. Clean safe secure school district. Inside pool and workout facility. New weight room. Transportation to all sporting events and extra programs for all students. Non residents may inquire about tuition costs to send their child to Cuyahoga Hts as well. Rated a Blue Ribbon school of excellence.

My special needs child currently attends Cuyahoga Hts MS and I couldn't be happier about the support he receives through the special education department. They are incredibly helpful and creative, the staff really cares about my child's success. In response to a previous post, the school does not determine an ADD label a doctor does & ADD is not considered special education the support services for the child are received within the general ed classroom.

Cuyahoga Heights School District schools are excellent if you have a gifted and talented student. However, if your child has a disability requiring Special Education, be prepared to work. Help consists of a Study Skills period where uncompleted school work is collected and sent home for parents to complete with their child. The school diagnosis for every disability encountered is ADD and the solution is the child is not applying themselves. 'No child left behind' takes on extra special meaning as children are promoted so that school rankings are not affected.

So many acedemic options at Heights. Many class choices, everyone gets the attention they need. Very new technology, including Mac Computers. Safe environment, without interupting daily life. So much more I could say.

I love this school! The teachers are great! We are given a great list of evtracurricular activities! I enjoy the friendly welcomes that the other students and teacher give me! Every few weeks there is a parent teacher brunch so the parents know what the students are learning!
