This is my sons first year at MQoP he is in the 8th grade, and had some behavior issues. MQoP has helped him with his behavior, and his grades have improved(he was and is very intellegent). He is now prepared for high school. Very nice students and teachers. Not a strong catholic school. But religious. Great school!!!

My kids are loved and taken care of academically and spiritually. The principal is amazing and reflects Jesus, as do the staff.

I have had two children at Mary Queen of Peace- Homewood Campus and I am have not been pleased with the leadership skills and responsiveness of the principal. Many issues arose when the schools merged into one school and the service delivery to students was terrible. Although it is slightly improving, the small family-like atomosphere pretty much went away. The academics are average at best. The best features of the school are the extra-curriculars. Now that my oldest has graduated, I will be removing my younger child.

I have a nephew that first attended this school during the 2006-2007 school year. When he first entered this school, he was in the fifth grade and could not read. Although he continues to struggle, he has flourished in one year! I believe that this is remarkable and I am so thankful to the staff at Mary Queen of Peace for giving him such caring, loving, and supportive education. I believe that the staff provide youth with something that most 'shy away from'-love. Continue to provide all children with a caring education because I believe that Mary Queen of Peace is a God sent.

Highly qualified and creative teachers and caring staff help instill Christian values and foster academic achievement. Opportunities abound for community service, athletics, art, dance, choir, band and string instrumental instruction. Ed-Choice vouchers and PACE scholarships are accepted. Generous donors who know the value of a Catholic education make this school affordable for those in need.
