I love dayton view academy i just dont like the fact that they use bull horns to yell at their students. but dayton view academy is a great school. i dont think it is preparing their kids for high school but other those minor setbacks i love dayton view academy.
I think Dayton View Academy and the teachers are great. My children have attended Dayton View Academy since K and they are now in 4th and 6th grade. I love the hours for the school day. Teachers are available to me when I need them and if there are any problems they can contact me without any problems. I have never had a problem with the school and/or staff. They geniuinely care for the students and for what they are trying to accomplish. If you are looking for an excellent school to send you children to then look no further. Dayton View Academy is there for you.
Dayton View Academy is a quality school that provides a well rounded education for all kids K-8. My kids have attended here since its inception. It's gets better and better each year.
In the middle of Dayton, there is a public school that offers a solid structure for inner city children. Kids there are required to wear uniforms, and are all very respectful. This program begins at the preschool level to encourage well-behaved and academically strong 8th graders. I would recommend it.
the quality of this school has gone way down in the last 5 years my children have attended. the funding is cut every year. i am about to move my children to another school. i am so disappointed because this school offered so much, and has given so little. there is no spanish teacher anymore, and the extracurricular activities are non-existent. the quality of teachers has gone down as well, with way too many inexperienced teachers, who has no training about culture diversity. it is going to hurt me to take my kids out, but for their sakes, i have to. i do believe this school has potential, but i can't keep my kids in it for their education sake. i am on the PTA, so i am trying to be more involved but things are too far gone at this time. it needs a new overhaul from the administration down.
