i went to kemp for 6th grade and it was horrible. the students picked on each other and cussed. while there there were quiet a few fights that went on and someone got closed in a locker. this is why i hate dayton public schools.

The 4 years we spent at Kemp were terrible. They have a major revolving door as far as teachers and principals go. Mrs. Minor the current principal is by far the worst of them all. She doesn't care one bit about those kids. My sons were bullied all year by 2 brothers and Mrs. Minor did nothing! The teachers don't care. They are more concerned with the fact that they don't get enough money. The staff there will tell you they are going to do something and nothing ever gets done. Mrs. Minor treats the children unfairly. What's good for one should be good for the other! If you want your children going to a school where the kids are bullied and the staff could care less about what happens to your child then this is the school for you!

All my children went to Kemp for at least 4 years, and now they are top of the class in their new schools. Kemp helped them one on one to reach their goals, preparing them for the new challenge of a new year. -Silvers

Kemp Elementary is a school where the students thrive. It is a wonderful school that encourages students to think outside the box. Class sizes are a bit on the larger size now and it is a little more difficult for the students to receive the attention they need.

Better than most Dayton public schools. Tthey seem to show an interest in the children. Over all great school.
