I love the wide variety of electives, especially visual arts. They have really bad Spanish teachers though. Over all, it is a really great school. Teachers are helpful, and the students are friendly.
This school district is probably the best my kids have ever been to. The teachers are great and the academic program too. We just moved from here from Dallas Texas and Beverly hills before that and I am most impressed with this district. Plus, the high school is getting a huge renovation which will make the learning experience here even better! Thank you BV!
This school Distrct is very unpleasing it doesn't give are children very many choices on helping their careers and work ethics. Another problem with the Disrict is they have had open enroll ment last year.
I have had two children graduate from buckeye valley h.s. and now have a third entering as a freshman this year. I have been extremely pleased with the school and its academic program. I have found them to be very helpful and positive to my children. My husband and I really enjoy the small school atmosphere. We have traveled around the country with his work and have experience many different school atmospheres and find Buckeye Valley very welcoming. Most of the teachers are very helpful to the students and enjoy teaching. Keep up the good work.
I have had one child graduate and am hoping to have the second graduate this year. I would give this school a low rating in helping their students succeed. They are terrible at keeping track of what requirements each student needs to graduate, there are no tutors to help a child in need, they are terrible at placing students in the correct classes according to their capabilities, kids are dropping out at an alarming rate, the majority of their teachers are too lazy to grade papers so they just look to see if a child did the assignment and don't care if they are able to get any of the answers right. Leaving a child to wonder if they are understanding new concepts and ensures they flunk their tests. In short this school is one of the worse I have every encountered.
