The 2008/2009 school year was our first year in the public school systems. We homeschooled prior to that. Due to homeschooling, I didn't really know what I had to do to enroll the kids, if they would have to go through testing, what kind of reception we would get when we got there, etc. This school is great! We loved our teachers, and our principle...though I'm sad that he decided to retire after our first year there. The kids did well, and it seemed there were plenty of opportunities to shine-and shine they did! I would have given it 5 stars, but the only thing that brings it down is that some of the grades were too full, and they had to use the art and music rooms. To me, these subjects are just as important as any other....
