Simply put, Sells Middle School is phenomenal. The teaching staff, guidance, and administrative leadership are extremely dedicated, hard working, and very much in tune with their young students. The school is richly diverse and in my experience, each child can feel accepted and appreciated at Sells. Quite frankly, I think Sells represents the most accurate demographic subset of the country as a whole. I feel that my children not only gain experience in befriending fellow humans from diverse walks of life, but, also benefit from an outstanding teaching staff, an exceptional commitment to education itself, a great array of athletic and club activities, and a tremendous, if not unique, sense of community with one another. On the downside, the location of the school leaves much to be desired. Unlike any of the other schools in the district, Sells is right dab in the heart of "downtown," too close to the highway and stuck amid a busy commercial area, in terms of both car traffic and people traffic. There is history behind this but it's time for the school to move, for the safety of our students. Overall, though, a great school with great leadershp.
Excellent school. Top notch teachers. Our two children have received incredibly well-rounded educations here, from sports, to music, to art, to drama, to academics. Teachers are very caring and go far above and beyond the call of duty with the students. Plethora of opportunities to get involved no matter the child's interests. Diverse student body and tolerant, welcoming atmosphere make for one large family. Also state of the art technology, wonderful field trips etc. Can't go wrong with Sells.
This School Rocks than any other Schools in Dublin. I am an Eighth Grader in that school. The Teachers teach very nicely and are very friendly. This is the best school I have ever attended
This is truly a great school. The teachers are dedicated and attend to every student's needs. Enrichment is given appropriately. It is a shame that the Dublin School Administration does not seem to do more for this school, even though it has the highest number of students.
Hello. I am a student of Sells Middle School and I am in 8th grade, so I have been through it all. This school gives you a fantastic opportunity to reach beyond the average limit, and surprisingly gets you ready and thinking about collage. Most students here are very very bright and intellegent. But beware of mean people.. They are everywhere in this school.
I had reservations about my child attending Sells, but after seeing how well my child is doing and meeting with some of the staff, this school has surpassed my expectations. I can predict that this school is quickly becoming one of Dublin's hidden gems and I am so thankful to see such strong parent participation.
my child goes 2 sells and it is wonderfu;
Sells is a great school with great teachers and a respect for art and athletics, as well as education.
It is a good school with great teachers. high quality.
Hey, since I am a student at the school, I guess I could tell you more about the school. And the 1919 building is freezing! Well hope this helped you. Parent involvement, they do anything for us Im so happy about that! hmm...We have a music lesson everyother day, art in a trimester, sports in 7th-8th grade...And the quality is ok.
