North Elementary School

North is an excellent school with an excellent staff. My child enjoys going to school and I feel he is up to standards. The building is beautiful, also. I love everything about North Elementary and so does my child!

There is no structure and the children are not reading enough, no homework is sent home and when it is (rarely) it is spelling words. students do not benefit from the so called reading program because there is very little reading done in class out loud. Instead students are picked a few at a time to go to the hall or an area to read out loud with a class helper! What's the teacher to be doing if someone else is doing the work for them !

This school has excellent educators. The staff here cares about the children and wants them to succeed. They offer a variety of activities both in and out of the classroom for the children. The Home & School is active in bringing many programs to the students that they would never be able to afford to see. The only downfall is the principal. He lacks leadership skills, has horrible raport with his staff, and does not take care of discipline issues.

This is an excellent school. My children have attended this school for the last 8 years, and all have had no problems successfully passing their required tests. They have also had wonderful teachers who have challenged them and taught them values. The only downfall this school currently has is the principal. He has no leadership skills, has a horrible rapport with his staff, and does not deal effectively with discipline issues.
