Comments such as that of the previous post are more indicative of a personal grudge rather than an objective evaluation of the district. Ranked as excellent by the Ohio Department of Education, the school district appears to do more with less funding than surrounding districts. With recent graduates having achieved degrees from the Naval Academy, Oxford, Exeter, Lehigh, Colgate, and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute it would seem to demonstrate that elite schools are within the reach of its students.

East Palestine demonstrates resistance to improvement in any form. Careless spending has cut out many extracurriculars. The lack of the AP standard kills their best students hopes of going on to an elite college. This is an unacceptable offense considering other schools in the area have already included it. Many teachers there are grossly underqualified, however there are a few that are outstanding. In short, if you want what is best for your child, you will not send them to this school.

This school is a very good school. I feel that students learn alot but there are somethings that I feel as a senior that I think they can improve on but I know they are improving all the time.
