In response to the unhappy parent who feels that 'teachers look the other way,' I am truly sorry that he/she is going to leave our school with that misperception. I don't know what happened to make him/her feel this way, but I can speak for the staff when I say that we really do care very much about the education and welfare of our students at EMS. Many of us go out of our way to see that each child feels safe. Hopefully, this will be cleared up before the end of the year.

I am glad my child will not be attending EMS next year. All schools have a policy of keeping your hands to yourself, but EMS does not adhere to this policy. Teachers seem to look the other way.

Everyone keeps saying this school is horrible. I don't think so at all. The lunch is starting to improve. The teachers are sper friendly and will help you with whatever you need. The School is very clean and there is so many things to do in the school. I love it here. Too bad I'm going to North next year. I'm going to miss this school.

I am a 6th grade student at this school and I think that this school is exellent but they should make the food a little less greasy and have more fruit. Whenever I buy lunch all of their food is covered in grease. The teachers are very nice and help out with the students when they are having trouble. Even though people say that this school is small, I don't get lost in the middle of the school! This school is great!

This school is the best school i have seen in a long time. The teachers and administators communicate well with the parents and have improved through the years. Also, this school is the cleanest school i have seen in the district or northeast ohio and it stays that way all year round.

Parents are pretty much the last to know anything in this school. Parent/teacher mtgs do not exist (unless you want to see them in a gym where all can hear). If your child is doing bad you will usually find out in the report card, not from a teacher or other staff or better yet, a computer printout....

This school is horrible. The food is bad and unhealthy. It's very small. Teachers are not very helpful at all. Sports teams are very, very weak. This school could use help in all aspects.

My child will be entering 7th grade. Her 6th grade experience @ EMS was wonderful. The teachers she had were superb and she had a great year. They do have a lot of extra curricular activities. They do need more parent involvement however.
