Eastlake North is a great school. My husband graduated from North and my daughter will graduate in 2010 and my son is a freshman at North. It has a lot of parent support and the school has a lot of spirit.

I think North is a great school, its kinda like a unsung hero because most people rate schools on the wealth of the students and parents and not on performance and consistiency and wealth doesnt equal a good school.

My daughter is a freshman at north high this year. And already she`s having problems. First day of school she got no lunch do to the mentoring problem. Her lunch is divided up ..20 minute lunch 20 minutes mentoring ..Only no one told these kids that the first day and they all missed lunch. Second day she said the lines were too long to get lunch ..much longer than in middle school. With all the kids i see (working in a hospital as i do with eating disorders) ..this is sending out the wrong messages to these kids. They need time to eat their lunch and not be rushed. This mentoring thing may be a good thing but should in no way take time from the kids lunch period.
