The problems in Fairborn City Schools are not simply with specific teachers or even specific schools, it is a district wide failure to take pride in providing children with the best education possible with the resources available. The schools aren't aweful, they aren't violent, the teachers do show up and teach, and the kids are learning stuff but it takes more than that to be a good school. This district will continue to struggle until they figure out how to dig out the appathy and 'I don't care' attitude that has poluted to district.

I just went to the FPS literacy night. It was amazing how everyone there seemed like a family, and everyone was welcoming and nice. I might be big and might not seem homey from the outside but it is and anyone would love it here!

The teachers and administration have been great. My son couldn't have had a better Kindergarten teacher, and his first grade teacher has been great!

I love Fairborn Primary we are one of the biggest Elementary Schools in Ohio with 1700 kids...The teachers care about the kids so much..We do so many programs throughout the year. We have a boutique where kids can get jackets and clothes if needed. The children get free breakfast so they can start their day looking foward to all they have to learn. We have many parent volunteers that help teacher and also help students with reading and anything else they need, we are not just a school, we are a family....

My child attends Fairborn Primary's Wright Campus and is receiving an excellent education. She loves going to school, is reading and writing well above her grade. The principal and teachers at that building do everything to make every students' experience a positive one, where the students want to learn.

As of this year this is an National School of Excellence. The teachers there are all Highly Qualified. They are making a difference everytime they walk into the classroom. The only problem with this school is the lack of parent envolvement which is at no fault of the schools. The principal cares about the well being of each student and wants them to be successful

My son attends the pres-school program at FPS. I really love his teacher. She is great. She is the only good thing about this school. I don't like how the program is set up because of the difference in the kids ages in the class. There are 3 years in with 5 year olds and some of the kids are just to immature to learn the ABCs or numbers. We moved here from another state last year and the other children had learned their ABCs by the end of the year and their numbers so I was disappointed in this program. I'm not happy with the school I think it doesn't support the teachers like it should. My pre-schooler will go to another school where the older kids go. I withdrew my older 2 children and sent them to a charter shcool because I wasn't happy with Fairborn.
