Green isn't a bad little school, there is a lot of favortisim, staff is mostly 'green breed and blood' but do seem to care about the kids. It's quite safe, everyone knows everyone.Buildings are old and dirty!! Bus drivers are great, they are very dependable and watch out for the kids. They always make sure a repsonsable adult is home when they drop off the younger kids.
Our school is a woderful school. Mrs. Armsrong the Principle of the k - 6 is the best. The parent involvement is very low, Besides that we love the school. But would really like to see more parents help.
Great 4th grade teachers and school administrators. Moved here summer of 2004 and my son started 4th grade here. His teachers made him feel comfortable and he did great both in school and meeting new friends.
The primary school was outstanding. The teachers showed a lot of care for the students and our daughter learned a lot. The elementary school is awful The teachers don't seem to have the children's best interest at heart and they are resistant to working with parents. The administration is also unresponsive to the needs of parents. The elementary school principal has been around a long time and is resistant to change. He doesn't want anyone telling him how to run his school. I am disatisfied at this time with the school.
