James J Hilfiker Elementary School

I raised my children in this school and now my grandchildren attend here. I love everything about this school! I wouldn't want my family to go anywhere else.

I am very proud to send my kids to this school. The teachers and all staff and administration are very concerned about each individual child and circumstance. They are very glad to let parents be as involved as they wish with there childrens education and liten to parents concerns.They are also very secure and safe.

As a teacher myself, I feel that Hilfiker Elementary has a very high quality of academic programs. This is my first year with a child attending school, and I am very pleased with the curriculum and it's layout. I feel that it challenges the students but allows them to succeed. As a parent, I am pleased with the amount of extras offered by the school. My daughter has a chance to attend art and music twice a week. Physical education, library, and computers. As an educator, I know that it is very uncommon to Kindergarten children to even be allowed the opportunity once a week. I love the all day Kindergarten and the teachers are very welcoming. Parents are involved based on their desire to be. The teachers are always providing opportunities to meet, or just allow you to be involved. Hilfiker is a great school.
