Our three children have attended Sunrise Academy since kindergarten. Two are now in middle school there. We absolutely love this school and are so grateful for the opportunities our kids have had there. The atmosphere is extremely supportive and nurturing, like a family. We like the diversity in the student population and also in the teaching staff. Our kids are being well prepared academically. The principal is wonderful and very involved with the students. We can't say enough about how blessed we feel to have our kids at Sunrise Academy!

Sunrise Academy is an awesome school. My first child finished her 2 years(K, 1st grade) in this school and my second child would be starting this school in the fall. This school is excellent in academics as well as spiritual training. Can't ask Allah for more, Alhamdulillah we are very pleased with the education and character builing we are getting here. We plan to live in this area for as long as we could to benefit from this institution.

My two daughters graduated from Sunrise as two of the original 9. After they moved to public high school due to not having a high school I Sunrise, it was then we discovered the depth and breadth of the impact of Sunrise Academy. My daughters were well above the level of other students in public school and one graduated with an Honors diploma and is an honor student in college and the other is very close behind her sister. Our family attributes their upright character and strong education to Sunrise Academy.

Sunrise Academy has an excellent academic program that has progressed over the past 10 years. A large percentage of their overall proficiency test scores are well above average and supercede the school districts around them. Parent involvement and communication are encouraged. All teachers are licensed by the State of Ohio. I would highly recommend this school to anyone who expects excellence in education!

Sunrise Academy is a school based on teacher/parents involvement. The school runs on the support of the students and their families. It constantly challenges the students to aim for the best. Students are constantly involved in school-related activities. Though the school has little funding, it is by far one of the greatest schools academically. The school has also recently been accepted as a chapter of the National Junior Honor Society. The students are excited about this and work extremely hard for this experience. Service, leadership, citizenship and integrity are only a few fundamentals established in this school. Students are given a lot of freedom, especially as they get older because they are trying to teach students to make their own decisions, hopefully the right ones. Overall I would recommend this school to anyone. Thank You.

I like that it's a small school (200 students K-8th) but I do not like the fact that it's a private school yet only maintains the state standards.. versus challegning the kids and aiming for above standard quality. My daughter is very smart and it's really sad not to see her challenged in class. The Administration and staff are very friendly and easy to work with, but parents must be really determined if they want change or want to, for example, propose Enrichment Programs. All in all, it's a good school but needs constant involvement from the parents to keep moving.

Both my kids have been going to this school for a total of 6 years. The principal is very involved with the teachers and student. The level of parent involvement and the parent teacher communication is very good. For the most part, the teachers are good and have good classroom management. I have seen the school improve through the years and now I would recommend the school to anyone who cares about their children's academics as well as having a safe environment. And they also have an after school latchkey program which is very helpful for parents who work.
