Highland County Christian is a relatively new school, and does have some relatively mild issues as any developing school would. Having said that, HCCS is a sincere, caring, God-loving community of teachers, administrators, students, and parents. My child is very young and already is very aware of God's love, the importance of having Him in her life, and loves Him unconditionally. HCCS has helped her develope educationally and spiritually and I appreciate the school so very much. I would suggest it to anyone. My child also loves the school, small classes, close relationships, and nurturing teachers.

HCCS lets down parents, staff and students prior to 2008-2009 school year. Lack of communication from the office is the key problem with this school otherwise the teaching staff is wonderful.

I wanted a more controlled environment for my child with more individualized attention. I chose HCCS just for that reason, he comes home with good grades and the teachers care, and I am very pleased. My son is now in 10th grade and loves going here. He has refused to go back to the public school. They have helped him have better morels and attitude. Thank You HCCS.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
