The staff at Holland are wonderful. This is the first school I have had pleasant experience and can see it in my children's grades. My children love their school and I do too!!

Our family moved to the Toledo area in 2005. This is the 3rd school district my children have attended; the other 2 districts were smaller and wealthier. I am extremely pleased with Holland Elementary. Since our family tends to move quite a bit, I did extensive research into all the area schools. I believe that Sprinfield is the best fit for us. The staff is very caring and teach not only book knowledge but character education as well. The entire district from kindergarten all the way through 12th grade has a large focus on character and what it means and how it fits into everyday life. I have been very impressed with Holland's staff and the programs they offer and the new ones that are always being introduced. This year a chess club was introduced and the children have participated in area tournaments and placed in the top ten each time.

Mr. Cramer is an excellent leader who may be strict, but he teaches the children disciple and life long skills.

I feel like this is going to be a great school for my daughter. I am however concerned about the lack of parent involvement, and after school activities. The academic programs are something that I also believe need to be looked at. One last issue I have is that the classroom size is not big enough, my daughters room is very small, there is no room for other activities. All in all this school is one of the better ones, but there is room for improvement.

This is a wonderful school that truly cares for its students well being. My son transfered here from Mid Michigan and this school puts his old one to shame. It is the best school I have even come into contact with.
