We have had some rough times this last year and the school is struggling with the lack of funding, like most. Many programs like field trips had to be canceled. But the school is small enough to where the teachers still know the students. Teachers are enthusiastic about their kids. Problems are still handled with some common sense. In the time of grief teachers provided a sense of normalcy. While we miss out on some of the opportunities the big schools may offer, the central and north central community colleges also offer programs that make up for some of it, like engineering camps, as long as parents and students are willing to put some effort into it. Overall a good school that stuck together during some difficult times!
