I also wanted to note that McCormick school is now only 7th & 8th grade & they do NOT have to walk between buildings anymore. I am relaying this because of previous negative comments I saw posted. I love it! MLN :-)

The school is in two different buildings and they have to walk outside without even a covered walkway. During the winter in northern Ohio, this is really unsafe. The kids only have three minutes to get from one class to another. My son has to get from the end of the second floor of one building, downstairs, out in the elements, into the next building and walk the entire hall of the U-shaped building to get from one class to another. All this in three minutes or he gets detention. He is in sixth grade and he has sixteen different classes every week. This is way too much for any child, especially children this age.

We give McCormick Middle School a three star rating with five being excellent. Both my daughters would like more challenging and interesting work assingments. We would love to see many more teachers like Mrs. Betsy Majoy and Mr. Tom Knechtges! However, Overall I suppose school system is Okay. Things are getting better.

I am very disappointed in McCormick Middle School. The 5th grade should not be there, too much of a maturity level difference. I have seen too many kids who have trouble in this middle school. Lack of support from every level.

Too much attention to sports and not enough to academics. The school needs to pay more attention to education not extra-curricular activities.
