I have two children at Badger grades 4 & 10 and I have two children that attend elsewhere. I have found that the upper administration lacks respect for parents and is not as involved with their students as they should be. I have had two instances when I have had to call the elementary school principal during the 2007-2008 school year and was treated like a child when I was just worried about my childs' wellbeing and I had to call the superintendents office and talk to the superintendent during the 2005-2006 school year and again was treated with arrogance. It is the way I was treated that made my decision to enroll two of my children in another school, one is attending TCTC next year and I am grateful for that and I am looking into open enrollment for the last child that is left at Badger for 2009.

I attended this school system my entire life. When I attended I thought that we lacked valuable educational tools and extracurricular activities. Since attending college, however, I have found from comparing Badger to several schools of my classmates that we are an exceptional school district. I was more than prepared for the academic lifestyles of college. The preparation in math is what I truly found exceptional. I was shocked to find that while my basic college math class was equivalent to the algebra I took in 9th grade in our district. I was well aware of our deficiencies, however I am willing to exchange Friday night football games for excellent teachers and preparation for college.
