The quality of the programs is exceptional. The children love to learn, enjoy school and look forward to school everyday. They are proud of their accomplishments and love to show you how they have learned something new. There are no programs that are lacking and a student can involve themselves in almost anything you can think of. The parents truly are proud of their children and their school. You can find them most anyday working on something for the students benefit.
Kirtland Elementary is a great place to send your elementary student. The teachers are supportive - test scores are high. There is a program for gifted/talented students that is outstanding.
Quality of academic programs and skill level of teachers is great. All the basic extracurricular activities are available and participation is greatly encouraged. Being a small community of ~7000, parental involvement is quite high.
