WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! I guess first impressions are not always the truest. At first, I thought this school was wonderful. That is not true after being here for 2 years. There is a COMPLETE LACK OF RESPECT for others. Not just teachers, but for other students too. Our school lacks many things, especially diversity and motivation. Sports are going downhill. One positive is our music program, but kids still fail to appreciate it. I am told a great school has excellent teachers, strong leadership, and challenging academic programs. Danbury really lacks some of these. Kids here also discriminate against ones religious beliefs. If you want your kid to receive a quality education, I'd think again before sending them here. Why worry about their safety?
The school is basically friendly and a safe environment. They do need to work on treating all the kids with the same respect regardless of who they are, how good they are in sports, what name they have in the community, etc.... do this and you have my vote as a 5 star school
Danbury Schools gives each student a safe envirorment for learing. The student to teacher ratio is great. It is a small school that sends 80% of its students to college. A great place to learn.
