School Year 07/08 My 2 children attend Cedar Heights and I must say that I am very pleased with their academics. My kindergartener is reading at a first grade reading level and we are only half way through the year. Mrs. Walker is an excellent teacher and is an asset to Cedar Heights. My other child is in 3rd grade and excels in his classes as well. Cedar Heights has many excellent teachers that genuinely care about their students and it shows. Dr. Sheets has made so many changes and has brought many new programs to our school. (walking program, extended Kindergarten class, before and after school program, etc.) Keep up the great work. I appreciate it

My daughter is in kindergarden year 05/06 her teacher is ms.Kerstetter and she is a wonderful teacher I am very glad that we were able to have her. But I think it would be better for an all day kindergarden class instead of half day. I think it would prepare them better for the rest of there school career. All other schools around Lancaster have all day kindergarden, why don't we?

Cedar Heights is the best school that I have gone to. The staff care about one another and the kids that they teach in a school year. When I walk into the school I feel welcome.

I feel that the cedar hights school has to many teacher that yell at students and crap a hold of them. Where discipline is involed the punshment should be the same for every student. Where safty is concered there was a suggest to cut some activities that shouldn't be going on in a alley across from school a teacher or a safty patrol standing there to prevent trouble in the alley and the school wouldn't even conceder it. My children have attented this school for five years. They have a few good teachers that are kind and willing to help them. but the kind teacher are out done by the amount of teachers that use unexceptable methods. As the principal allows them to do.
