Lancaster School district has been getting worse and worse every year since my family moved to this city in 1971. my son who went there his freshman and sophmore year came home every day complaining about the mean students, the low class of the school, the horrid teachers and he always talked about how he saw a fight at least 3 times a week. He hated Lancaster because he felt as if he was just another number, and he wasn't important or special in anyways. Lancaster High School itsself is a very out dated building, that was built nearly 50 years ago in 1963. lancaster is a terrible school district and i wish i could go back 18 years and send them to a small, comforable caring school district like Bloom-Carroll.

Lancaster High School is a excellent school with excellent teachers and offers a wide variety of programs that other schools don't offer. It has excellent sports programs with more students then not that participate. This school has a few problem children as all schools do ,However the majority of parents within in this organization have very successful education driven kids and what a great place to get a great education

Lancaster high school is not what it used to be. The teachers do not go above and beyond to assist students. Many fights. The administration needs to take a more active role in being visible in the cafe and halls. Teachers need to be in halls during class changes as well. Extra-curriculars are great, but more kids need to be involved. Athletic director very caring.
