Their preforming arts department has been growing. The young people that take part in the activities are more confident and willing to try things they wouldn't otherwise attempt. The bonds they are making with one another are very strong, so strong that those who have graduated are coming back to assist with whatever they can. That they remain interested enough to help those that follow says alot about the program. I would love to see them able to acquire some of the the things they lack, as well as replace equipment that is out dated, so that this program can continue and grow.

Very poor parent/teacher/administration communication system. Very poor plan to meet and even identify students at risk. Alot of 'talk' about bullying intervention without any real intervention. This school district is not meeting the needs of their students educationally.

I agree that Lisbon has a lot to offer to those who qualify, and for those who don't sorry do the best you can. We have a lot of teachers that honestly care about the students and there are some that if your child struggles they are left behind. I also think the open enrollment is a terrible idea, that should be changed without any questions

DAH is a great school, known for its academic programs. However the favoritism is a big issue. As well as the fighting in this school. I have several children in this school.I have had to spend time with my child in the hospital, due to a fight in school. I'm afraid I may have to move my child to united schools. Lisbon has a beautiful school, great teachers some of which taught me. I hope for other parents as well as myself, the problems at the school are taken care of.

I have had students at mckinley and dahs.I would not send another child to this school. There is bulling and favoritism. The same students bully ever year and get warned every year, the next year they start off fresh again so it just continues.I've seen cheerleader wear sandels and very short shorts against the school dress code and not be sent home for it but let a non-cheerleader wear it and their parents are called. The school also has open enrollment which makes classes way too large to get any extra help for students that are behind.Parents like myself have opted for homeschool and we live here and pay taxes for others.I'm afraid my children are not safe, or getting a good education.Which is sad thing for our community.

The academic programs at David Anderson are very good. Also there are many kinds of extracurricular activities and elective classes, like many different music and art studies. There are lots of sports available for students to participate in, including football, basketball, golf, cheerleading, volleyball, baseball, softball, track, cross country, and even a swim team. Other activities like Speech and Debate and Academic Challenge also provide opportunities for students to become involved. There are also several groups for parents, which keep them involved with the school as well. Parents are aware of what is going on.

the academic programs at Lisbon H.S. is the best. The athletic programs are also the best. The arts and cultural arts are seriously lacking. Basic music, band, and choir. They do not teach music theory or are they heavily involved in dramatic arts. The music and band teachers are very gifted and do the best they can can, but are not supported well buy the school or the community. Only the parents and families of the studends involved in these programs support them. As far as the staff are concerned It is my opinion that they are very bias. Some of them show special treatment to certain students and families of the community. (you know the right last name thing). To be honest alot of them are snobs. It does reflect on the student population. I don't care what they say. Some students are treated well, some are treated like dirt. It's not right, anywhere.
