Availability of extracurricular activites is high but could be a bit higher offering more sports. The level of parent participation could be better. Parents should be invited to participate within the school to know more about how it is run and what happens during school hours. As with most schools, it seems the same parents are the ones involved year after year..after year. We need to grow in this area so that everybody is involved on the same level. I believe that the academic programs are those of good, sound quality. The school has taken on newer programs and ways of dealing with the students one on one and it sems to be working. I believe this school has much to offer. I believe my son is recieving a good education within the Beaver Local Middle School.
Janice Forsythe is a wonderful teacher who has brought great ideas to her classroom which has helped develop the students that she has taught not only in previous years but also today. The dedication that she has given Beaver Local for over 20 years is extraordinary. Kudos, Janice Forsythe.
