Garfield Elementary is the science magnet school for Lorain Schools and received the title Magnet School of Distinction in March 2010. The administration, teachers, and staff are dedicated to preparing the students for the 21st Century. Garfield Elementary School achieved the status of Safe Harbor for the State of Ohio Department of Education in 2009.
Garfield Elementary School is an excellent place for children to receive a high quality education! The teachers are warm and inviting and truly care about their students! The students are very well behaved and respectful of themselves and others!
