St. Louis School provides an excellent education in a strong Catholic Christian environment! My children consider the students and teachers part of our extended family! Class sizes are small and the kids receive a lot of individual attention. We love St. Louis School!

Not being a native of Stark County or Ohio, but raised Catholic and the receipient of a public education in a neighboring state, I was not thrilled about the prospect of my daughter attending public school in this area but also hesitant about the expense of Catholic School. I am so glad that my husband and I made the decision to enroll my daughter at St. Louis School. The staff are top notch and the small class sizes make it easy to give all the children the individual attention they need. I have no doubt that my daughter, who struggles with math at times would not have come as far as she has in a larger school with more students in her class. While no situation or school is perfect, my husband and I are very pleased overall with St. Louis School and would recommend it to anybody who asks.

My daughter has received a fantastic education at St. Louis. The small class sizes provide an intimate setting and she has developed some very close friendships with her classmates. The teachers are very loving and caring and seem to bring out the best in my daughter. The nuturing at school is right in line with her nuturing at home. She has learned morale values as well as religious values. I would definitely recommend St. Louis.

This school was more than just a disappointment but more of a heartbreak for me. I always dreamed of my children receiving a Catholic education. I sent my first born and stuck it out way to long. I sent my second removed her along with her sibling. There is little Principal involvment with the students. The teachers seemed to be whoever they could find for the lack of pay. Many teachers were not catholic therefore, could not teach our faith. Many came for job experience. They did not seem personally involved. The education was not even close to how it use to be or could be. I believe my children were getting cheated educationally and spiritually.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
