All my kids went there, and it was a great foundation for high school, college and beyond.

Lots of volunteering options, strong principal leadership, challenging academics.... no room for slacking...teachers push children to the best of their ability. Overall above average teachers.

We chose St. Columban for the Catholic influence which is apparent in every subject taught and in day-to-day activities at the school. The staff are very approachable and are in-tune to our children's strengths and weaknesses. The curriculum can be a bit high stress and overwhelming at times. There is no room for 'laziness' or 'slacking'. Parent involvement opportunities abound and parents are encouraged to be active in the schooling process. (It's a great opportunity to interact with other parents and to get to meet our children's peers.)

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
