North Madison Elementary School

North Madison Elementary is a wonderful school. It really reflects the small town we live in. Generations of families and teachers have been through here and the staff feels like family to us. The school emphasizes hard work and respect and my three children are so proud of their school. The boys are gently guided and challenged enough that each day is fun and interesting for them. They are never bored!

NME has far exceeded my expectations. My son had Joe Measel as his 4th grade math teacher. He used tons of technology in the classroom while still preparing the students for their boring proficiency tests. That is not easy to do. Nice work NME!

I find the school somewhat lacking in meeting the unique social, economic and cultural diversities of the community. I moved from a more melting pot type of community and I find some of the needs of the students being meet with a stone-age attitude of pure neglect. Move into the dynamics of a diverse community and meet the needs of all the students not a select few. Otherwise I find the school system fine.

Two of my 3 children attend this school and I am very pleased. My one son has special needs and the staff is wonderful - asking me if they can try new things with him instead of me having to ask them.

NME is an excellent school in our area. The teachers and principal are wonderful and it shows with both my children being on the Honor Roll. Thank you everyone at NME!
