Not sure about the 80% family and what they mean. I do not attend church at Baptist Temple but my children are involved in a ton of extra activities and both are starters on the athletic teams (volley ball and boys basketball). All schools have problems with politics but at Temple it is on a very small scale compared to the local public schools. Also the education level is much higher than at a lot of the public schools.

This school is well worth the money, my child learns about Jesus Christ (who died for her sins) and in K4 she was counting to 100, reading small books, and math skills. She has learned so much in Temple I would not even consider sending her any where else.

The availability of art and sports are very poor as well as the extracuricular activities. I do like the academic program, however the school is made up of 80% family and that exculdes alot of children due to favoritism. Parental involment is only welcomed if you are volunteering in the snack shack, but you are unwelcome if you have a problem that needs attention. In my opinion, this school is in need of serious internal looking at, the blatant favoritism hurts the feeling of alot of children who do not know why they have to deal with this behavior.

Academic programs are fine with the exception of art. The sports are limited to only a couple. The level of parent involvment is rather high.
