Love SJS! Just what an elementary school should be with extra benefits. SJS delivers everything you would 'expect' from a private school along with special 'attention' to each and every child. No child is left behind! Having experienced being in another private school, we have seen a delightful change in our children's attitude toward their school. They are truly happy at SJS. Parents of SJS can expect to be known on a first name basis in a relaxed family atmosphere. Academically the school is excellent! SJS offers a challenging curriculum to stimulate any mind. Special programs and extra perks during the school year add 'character' to the school and students that your child wouldn't get anywhere else. SJS resides on several lovely acres of well maintained and safe land for the children to run, jump and play. We as parents believe our children's lives have been enhanced because of SJS.
St. Joseph School is an excellent school! Academically the children do very well and score high on proficiency testing. The classes are smaller than that of public schools, therefore, the children are given more individual attention. All classes are offered including music, art, Spanish, computers and phys ed. Extracurricular activities include sports, Beta Club, Chess Club, Knitting Club, Student Council and more. The parents at St. Joseph are like no other. They are very involved and can be found helping out at school on any given day either in the classroom, lunchroom or on a trip or special activity such as Field Day or a trip to Fun N Stuff. I highly recommend St. Joseph School to anyone!
