This school is at the bottom when compared to Middle Schools in the county and state. Teachers pray for on opening to leave. The administration in the school is terrible. Discipline doe not exist. It is a shame because the students do not receive and adequate education. The only hope for the teachers is an early retirement. Parents, find another school for your children!

From what I can see, the teachers are being held back from doing what they need to do by an administration (e.g. Ms. Williams) that doesn't seem to care much about discipline. The 'bad' kids go unpunished for the most part, and the entire student body suffers. Changes need to be made.

I had nothing but good experiences when my child was at Dunham elementary and then she moved up to Milkovich or should I say moved down. She has spent the last 2 years there and it has been a nightmare. She went from loving school to dreading going every day. She is a special education child and she has dealt with tremendous bullying and no protections were given to her as a result last year she learned and gained nothing. Her IQ score has dropped dramatically since she has been there. This year it went from bad to worse with them not following her IEP as her work was not modified and she has been frustrated all year. When I asked why I was told the state is demanding that the children do regular 8th grade work when she functions much lower. We are leaving Maple Schools.

I am not happy with this school. The students are insensitive, rude, and loud. My daughter has found it very difficult to concentrate. The teachers tend to punish the whole class for the bad behavior of some. I am dissatisfied with the whole school district. This is the last year my children will be in this school system. The bad atmosphere completely overshadows the quality of academic programs. Things are so bad at the school that its not worth meantioning the quality of the academic programs.

I think parents and teacher should'nt expect more dicipline because its already hard enough having to deal with Teenage Problams. I think Mrs. Sanders is doing a great job running our school and I also think she is getting help from GREAT teachers. There is teachers who tends to blur out stuff but its easy to except. I truly love all of my teachers even though I'm not easy on them.

I have lived in the Maple Hts district for 10 yrs and I totally disgusted with the handling of the school system. My son currently attends the middle school and I was truly dissatisfied with the way things are being handled. Granted the principal has only been there for two years and she is doing things to bring change. But she is not getting any cooperation from some of the parents. My son along with others were constantly being harrassed by boys and girls, when the child addressed the situation with the teachers, the teacher turned their heads. But, when the child gets feed up and defends themselves, they are labeled as having 'anger problems'. I am aggressively seeking to move from this district before the next school.

Milkovich is a horrible school there is constant fighting ignorance and no discipline. Many students are getting expelled and suspended everyday over petty things setting 7 and 8 graders up for failure at such a young age.

I am moving out of the city because of this school! There is a terrible lack of dicipline! While I visited the school on several occasions the staff had no control over the children, security guards were constantly busy, it's sad, this is the city I grew up in. It seems like the school system just doesn't care anymore!
