While this school has always tested "high" for state scoring, we found a very uneven texture to the handling of discipline and controversial student issues. We were disappointed on more than one occasion.
Putnam is an excellent school, with knowledgeable leadership and teachers. The children are respected and the discipline is terrific. (Positive discipline approach) This school should be rated a 'best practice' school and should receive honors.
Wonderful School. The staff is great.
