Academics are very rigorous, which is a plus. Character formation is stressed but only superficially, the girls can be especially mean and exclude students from play. Sacrament preparation is not accepted at many parishes so expect to have to take PSR in addition to school prep. Overall a mixed bag and I would recommend careful evaluation, if you have a strong parish school your children might be better off there.

We have been very blessed to have this wonderful school for our children. They love the kind academic Catholic environment. If you want an excellent education that will help instill faith this school would be a great fit. Much support here.

This is our fourth year at Royalmont Academy. The value and leadership displayed with the school is second to none. Yes, there is a difference with this school and the other Catholic schools. I see it first hand attending church services and family functions at their childrens Catholic schools. As most parents, I want my children to be in an environment that teaches respect, gratitude and how to attain positive goals, some of the top most taught virtues at the school. The teachers are highly educated, patient, kind and loving to their students. The school is smaller but fast growing for the same reasons we have our children attending; high quality education and a high quality staff. My children are happy socially and academically past what I thought they would be. Proud of the school, what they have achieved and where they are headed. Much support here.

Royalmont is a great small school. If you're looking for lots of extracurriculars this may not be the choice for you, but if you're looking for a top notch education in a small loving environment have a look. The students are very well behaved and good values are stressed throughout the school. Students have to work hard and in many subjects are about a year ahead of their peers at other schools. Royalmont has been a great fit for our family and we have been very happy there.

I toured the new school and did not find anything different then a regular school. They talked about the academics and a caring environment, yet after looking at the current grade level school work there is nothing better at this school academically or with virtue ethics which they were promoting. I would think very hard before sending your child here. Any group of parents can get together and start their own school like this one was. I would stick to a regular school and attend CCD classes or stick with a traditional Catholic school. If you want to spend some more money you can always attend Summit. There is another school that is just like Royalmont near the Oakley area called St. Edmund which you can compare with Royalmont. Think long and hard if you are considering sending any child to this school. A good percentage of the teachers have children going here and ask to see what some of the teachers degrees are in and if they have any advanced degrees. They also lack all the extra perks that available at other schools. There is no support here.

Royalmont is a small school that provides a loving, caring environment for students to receive an excellent education. The students are top notch and not only receive one of the best educations around but also learn important virtues that teach the students how to be well behaved, compassionate kids! We could not have chosen a better school four our kids. The recent move to the new location has given the school phenomenal facilities to match the phenomenal education they provide!

This is our third year at Royalmont and have seen six different grade levels. Very happy with the quality of formation - both academically and spiritually. Staff is extremely committed and dedicated.

My kids have been there since preschool and are now in the middle school. It has been a wonderful environment - challenging, very personalized, strong character/virtue based program that is well integrated into the entire curriculum, small classes which allow for a great deal of personal attention both in their academics and human formation. They also provide a strong faith and Christian leadership formation which comes together with apostolic service projects. One of the best parts are the dedicated and gifted teachers who truly make a difference for each of my kids. They are passionate about teaching and their relationships with their students. Also my kids love it there and are growing up to be solid young persons. Come check it out and see for yourself.

Teachers and administration really care about the children! Excellent preparation for life and for future education. High percentage of graduates of this school win high school scholarships! Indoor auditorium/gym is a carpeted area that I would guess is about 6000-7000' sq. Not perfect, but the children are not hurting for room to run. Technology department use begins this coming fall. Beautiful new grounds are going to be site of new development.

Strong faith and good discipline, but lacking almost everything else. The library is a small closet-sized room that is useless for students beyond second or third grade. No computers for student use during the school day. No adequate gymnasium space for indoor physical education. Extremely limited resources for students with special needs. A bigger, hopefully more adequate school is in the plans, but won't be functioning for several years.
