I have four children, my 4th grader just moved up to the Intermediate school, having attended Franklin since 2nd grade, and youngest is in Franklin's fantastic pre-k program. Everything about Franklin (aside from the school nurse) has been AWESOME. The teachers are amazing, the principal is quirky but fun and the kids love him. The gifted program is exceptional! The building itself needs work, but the curriculum and instructors are far more than I could have hoped. We moved just outside of the Franklin district into Whittier and we chose to intradistrict open enroll our children in Franklin and hopefully we'll be able to for the remainder of their elementary years.

This past school year at Franklin was awesome. The fourth grade class trip was to Williamsburg, Busch Gardens and Virginia Beach to see the dolphins but before they went on the trip they had a day called colonial day and they had centers and learned about that era in the U.S. History.
