Leadership is outstanding at this school. I have two that graduated from SBS and two currently enrolled. Teachers go the extra mile to make sure students are comprehending and retaining what the've learned. It is an extension of family there, keeping with our values and morals...respect from everyone.

St. Barbara School is the best school on Stark County's west side! From our caring staff and well trained teachers to our well-equipped classrooms and cutting edge training and programs, St.Barbara is the school you want your child to be a part of. Children are not a number at St. Barbara's, but an individual where all needs are met. It is comparable to a family atmosphere, where teachers, other parents and staff are always looking out for the health, success and growth of your child! Our priest is fantastic in helping the children prepare for Mass and sacraments. The extra curricular activities offered are a great variety for children. From clubs to sports to volunteer activities in the community, St. Barbara is a stand out school for sure. Take a look, have a visit, you will be impressed and eager to send your child.

My Daughter Goes to School there She's in Pre-K. We love the school and we are not catholic. but she has learned so much in one year. We live in a very good highly rated school district. My husband & I are having a hard time to decide which school to send her too! The teachers she has are wonderful and everyone knows everyone is like a small family. the school only goes to 8th. grade. shes a girl which we feel it will be harder on her when she has to start new school in 9th Grade.

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.
