West Elementary School

I am very happy with the transition my daughter has made from the jackson school district to vinton. This could not have happened without the help of Robin the bus driver to her great kindergarten teacher Mrs. Maynard. Thanks to all who have helped. Lets go Vikings

I am very impressed with all the staff at Allensville! I feel I am leaving my children in a capable and caring enviroment. They are learning and enjoy going to school everyday! Thanks!

My daughter was able to learn alot more at Allensville. No, Allensville is not all fun and games. If it is then my daughter is learning. Now she can read and tell time. The school may be older than dirt but I'd take that any day, as long as my child is learning. I drive her 300 miles a week to Allensville. Next year I will drive her even farther to mcarthur. It's worth the drive.

The school is older then dirt and I think the teachers put to much on the parents and there not doing there jobs the way they should.

I attended this same school as a child. Several of the same teachers are still here and they are too burnt out to be effective teachers. Yes, there are a few excellent teachers,but not enough. I am seriously considering home-schooling my children.
