Excellent Education; My child was an National Merit Finalist and I attribute it to the education he received here. I believe they had three in 2 years out of about 25 graduates. Our local HS graduates over 250 students a year and has had 1 in 10 years?

The education here is above par. As a graduate I was well prepared for college. As a parent now with 3 children enrolled I still find the education to be excellent. The students consistently have high scores on the national acheivement tests. I also appreciate all the opportunities my children have to participate in speech competition, band, a fantastic Christmas program and equally fantastic Elementary program. The fine arts program is incredible. Biblical views and values are incorporated in all subjects so that my children are constantly fed the truth of God's Word. As a parent and alumni involved with the sports program, I know that each team is given both the challenge to excel in that sport as well as the challenge to excel in Christ-like behavior while participating in sports. While not every student strives to follow Biblical truth, the staff does it's best to direct students toward Godliness.

This school has a proven record of great teachers and small classes. The music program here is near-world-class; students regularly take 1st in national competitions. Even the sports programs are especially good, considering the small size of the school (especially soccer). The only thing that detracts from the experience here is the conservatism of the board and administration, which displays itself both in the school's ideals and policies. The school has a reputation of strict adherence to dress code and other policies which tends to approach frivolity. However, these are issues that do not mar my pride as a graduate of the school.

With a small teacher-to-student ratio, this school has provided our daughter with more one on one instruction and has helped her excell in studies that she had previously had trouble with. Their solid adherence to biblical standards has also been a great help in giving her the fundamentals of good christian conduct and behavior. At first she was reluctant, and this school only allows students who want to attend, but she gave it a try and fell in love with the place. We've been very happy with the school and the level of academics. My daughter is not into sports, but occasionally attends basketball and soccer games, and enjoys singing in the choir which just won first place at a regional competition for christian schools.
