DCMS is filled with dedicated and loving teachers and staff. The principal is a man of integrity and loves the Lord and his students. He does a wonderful job of communicating with his families! My children have been challenged to stretch their academics and I love the focus on serving others and developing Godly character. My daughters have made friends here for life! DCMS is a place of high quality education that is truly a blessing for our family!

A great middle school!! My kids have grown and thrived in DC MS. The principal is a godly man who cares for the kids and where they are headed in life. The teachers are gifted and invloved in students lives. It is not uncommon to see teachers at student sporting and extra curricual events. The academics are challenging and the learning environment cultivates deeper thinking.

I have experience Hadley Watts and Dayton Christian middle school with my son last year ~ there is no comparison Dayton Christian is so much better than watts in so many ways. The education is alot better at DCMS but is just one part of the story. The teachers and staff at Watts are all very nice but the children, the girls wore very little clothes and the boys and girls had horrible language and my son experienced sexting it was common place and none of the adults cared??? If there is language at DCMS the kids do not use it around an adult. I feel sorry for the children at watts ~ alot of them had divorced and absentee parents and they were looking for trouble? it was sad ~ we need to pray for them. The parents at DCMS are so kind and generous and the schools outreach programs are unbelievable. Most of all the teachers at DCMS truly love their jobs and our children and that is why they teach! They are all a blessing!

The middle school is wonderful!. The principle is outstanding. What a godly leader he is. The middle school teachers have academically challenged both my son and daughter and have cared for them. Middle school is hard for any child. I am so grateful for the godly role models and Biblical guidance my kids have gotten. It is worth the sacrifice we have made to sent them to Dayton Christian. My kids have had opportunities at Dayton Christian they would have never gotten at the large public middle school district we live in. We thank God for DC!

Very negative atmosphere for middle school students coming from both teachers and staff. If you don't enjoy working with this age of kids, why work in a middle school? Big and bad change from the elementary school.

DCS partners with the parents in the education of children. It's the best!

About these ratings

The Community Rating is the school’s average rating from its community members (e.g., parents, students, and school staff). The highest possible rating is five stars; the lowest is one star.

We currently do not have any test score information for this school. Unlike public schools, private schools are not always required to report data about their schools or not required to take the same tests as public schools. Many private schools take different standardized tests; however, that information is often made available only to families of enrolled students. We strive to acquire additional private school data whenever available.

Oops! We currently do not have any student information for this school. We rely on the state Department of Education, the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), and in some cases school administrators such as registrars and principals for this data.
