This school was one of the main reasons we moved to Ohio - and, after 2 years, we thank God we did. There are very few schools in the COUNTRY that are staffed and managed with men and women who know anything about teaching ADHD and high-functioning Aspergers kids. We came from an area back east with (supposedly) one of the best school districts in the nation - and a budget well over $1 Billion a year - and they were CLUELESS when in came to teaching our boy. A good bit of the teaching is self-paced to match where the child is - computers are used a lot to achieve this. Summit is where the rest of the country should be heading in that department. This school is a blessing and the people there are super.

I rate this school as excellent because the child's total well being is important and the teachers are dedicated to help each child succeed. Classes are small and allow for more individual attention. My son has attended for six years. He has transformed into a fine young man. He has reached skills that I couldn't have dreamed of in the public school system.

The staff works as a team and provides the best service they can for each student. That is a challenge since all the students are special needs students. Subject areas taught include math, reading, composition, computer skills, science, social studies, and martial arts. It is a small school and everyone knows each other and feels a sense of comradery. Individual student needs are addressed as much as possible.
