My daughter attends Minerva school district. She has to take IEP courses. They took time to test and evaluate her in order to put her in courses that are suitable and challenging for her. She gets help in tutoring and one on one assistance from faculty and administration staff. The teachers in Minerva school district care for the children they teach.

Hazen Middle is a wonderful school there, they care for the students and really show them what they need to know. The teachers at Hazen Middle are great too they all have great abilities to make the children learn. I think any parent would love this school because it really is great!

About the tests


Ohio uses the Performance Index to provide an overall indication of how well students perform on its standardized tests each year. The Performance Index scores are based upon how well each student does on all tested subjects in grades 3 through 8 and 10. Schools and districts earn anywhere from 1.2 points for each student scoring at the advanced level to zero points for each untested student. The Performance Index ranges between 0 and 120, with 100 as the statewide goal for all students.
