This is one of the worst schools. I come from a family of educaters. I am shocked at the lack of teaching skills. Teachers are more interested in labeling kids with disorders and having them drugged. Not giving kids the education they need. I have talked to several parents who have experienced this. Some parents have taken thier kids elsewhere. I hear Jackson & Perry Schools are having no problem teaching these kids with so called disorders. They see no signs of disorders. hhmmmm maybe Fairless is trying to get extra money at any cost. Sad!!! They dont even diserve 1 star!
Wow! I had a completely different experience with this school. I was there for 3 weeks. I experienced a lousy attitute from the teacher. She had more kids than she could handle. She even told me she had several kids that needed more one on one time she could not give them. She did not have the time. Then they gave her another student. I took my child out of this school. I put him in a private school. Hes doing much better. He has improved leaps and bounds. Schol district cares more about getting money, than teaching and helping the kids they have. In my opinion. My boys will not be going to Fairless!
Fairless Elementary School has awesome teachers, although we have not passed a levy in 13 years our school has done nothing but improve. The teachers and staff members truly care about each and every child and it shows!!
With these troubling times especially, Fairless Elementary School Staff go above and beyond for every student. They are a bunch of wonderful people with the students coming first in their decisions on a daily basis.
Everytime I talk to any of my students in sixth grade that just came from the elementary, they tell me how much they miss it. I have yet to hear one bad thing about the school, everything is always smiles and positive about it.
Both of my children currently enrolled are special needs and Fairless has been on top of things from day one...They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and lend a helping hand to families in need.Christmas time they help less fortunate area students and their families. They are a warm and wonderful school!
