My daughter attended this school. Excellent teachers and staff. Small classroom sizes. Excellent small town school.

My three children have attended many schools in their short academic careers.Of all the schools New Richmond Elementary is by far the best. The teacher/student ratio is low. The teachers take a personal interest in not only the students academically but personally. The principal is a very friendly woman that runs a tight ship. It is always easy to communicate with the staff. My children feel safe and part of a team at New Richmond Elementary!

I loved New Richmond Schools. I am in New Richmond High School now. Some of the teachers may not be as great as others. Once I reached middle school, as some of my friends, I felt as if we were a bit behind the other New Richmond Schools students that combine to form the middle school. The elementary doesn't offer sports to play for the school but there are sports available and many extracurricular activites. Many parents are involved but it's up to the parent, i feel that parent involvement greatly helps the children succeed.

New Richmond is an alright school. It needs a lot of work in dealing with certain situations with students. A student was in kindergarten and was called racial names and made fun of because she was white and black. The parent went to the school, wrote notes to the school, talked to the principal and nothing was done. They have no idea how to deal with certain situations and should have people on hand who knows how.
