My daughter went to Ben Franklin for 3 years. I was pleased with her 2nd grade teacher, but that is it. The principal and her other teachers following did not seem to want to communicate with me at all. There needs to be more discipline in that school as well. The students are way out of hand. I would NOT recommend this school to anyone.

Ben Franklin provides high quality education and has a caring and dediated staff. The teachers go above and beyond to meet the needs of all the children.

There are several excellent teachers on staff but they do not get much support from the principal. There are no incentives allowed for the students who do a good job. There also is no discipline from the principal when teachers need support. I'm glad my children no longer go there.

The school in general is a good school. It is a little disappointing that many of the concerns we have had have been dismissed by the Pricipal. The teachers have been attentive and understanding, but seem to have their hand tied when it comes to helping the children if they are average. Unless the child has a diagnosed 'learning diability,' they will not go to much trouble helping the children to succeed. Many of the 'incentives' for the kids have been taken away, such as allowing school parties such as fall, or family fun days. They do allow some family time, but it has been decreesed significantly even thogh the children have worked had with their fund raisers and there is an excess in the account.
