North Olmsted Middle School has a terrific staff of truly dedicated professionals. Students from many backgrounds and abilities are given a good educational experience. The school strives for excellence in every aspect of public education.
I have been very happy with NOMS! The teachers are very supportive, the staff is very friendly and helpful. Thanks NOMS for all the hard work you do for our children!
I rate my school excellent because the teachers care and the principals are involoved in academical starategies for us to get the highest education possible. Even though the school may be old theres nothing wrong with it and its a great place to be!!!
I think its a great school and I think that every child should go there. there are a lot of excitement and there are many new things to try at the school. the teachers are really good at doing their work they stay on tasks for anything Mr.Barret is a wonderful principle he works great with students and staff.
My children attend this school. It is very old and broken down. The district failed to pass the last levy for improvement. I am not sure what they will do now. Most of the teachers are good and the principals really care.
Very much like every other school in Ohio this one is old and run down. Most of the teachers are very good and the principals really cares.
Unfortunately, the associate principal at this school seems to have more interest in being a warden than a leader. His constant disruptions in the school day with the excuse of 'investigating' even the most minor incidents seriously distracts the students from focusing on what they are there for. His motives are not condusive with success off the students. He highly discourages parental involvement.
It is un-fortunate that there is such a lack of judgement in regards to discipline at this school. While there are ways to address concerns with less disruption, the administration appears to be more concerned with asserting authority, than utilizing methods that would be more beneficial to a students success in regards to academics. The 'information gathering' proccess, which all too often includes children who are in no way involved in even the most minor incidences, should be limited to non-class time. At least until the officials are better trained or replaced.
this school is very organized. the teachers help the students as much as they can. I feel like this is the best school my child has been to in her life!
I think North Olmsted Middle school is a great school. Lots of after school programs take place that I think are just wonderful. The staff is very good at what they do and verey understanding! The acedemic programs at this school are awsome as well. Teachers take great pride in what they do here at North Olmsted! This school is very large and may be confusing to new commers but everyone welcomes you with a huge smile! The building of the school is not at all great. This school was added on to so many times it doesnt look nice any more. I have always found that bugging me! The students at N. O. M. S. take great pride in what they do and always put their best effort in to learning! I hope you think this is a great school I know I sure do!
