If a kid wants to apply themselves and learn, then Norwood is a good school to attend. It's all up to the child though on whether they take advantage of a good academic education or not. The principal, counselors, and teachers do REALLY care about the students and work with the parents to help the kids in their grades, dealing with peer pressure, and helping the kids learn coping skills. My daughter goes there, she is in 10th grade, and not long ago she was failing and being very defiant. The staff at the HS went above and beyond the call of duty to help me and her. They are awesome! Now my daughter has 3 A's, 2 B's and 2 C's and has a better attitude and is no longer acting defiant. I am extremely grateful to the HS staff for caring for these kids and their future.
Very grateful for my education at Norwood; top-notch faculty, activities and learning atmosphere!
