I have had children attending Oak Hill Schools for the last 14 years and I have rarely been disappointed. This year is no exception! I currently have a daughter in the first grade at Oak Hill Elementary. Her math and reading skills are above average. If I have a question or concern her teacher is available each day to help. Their are 2 principals at OHE and both are very caring and helpful. Safety and learning are the 2 priorities at this school and I am so glad. There is also a before and afterschool program that provides additional help or just a safe place for studentsto stay. The school was recently named a 'School of Promise' in Ohio due to their high reading scores. I would highly recommend this school to anyone. The students and staff are top notch!!

I have 2 children that attend Oak Hill Elementary. I am extremely pleased with this school and their staff. The principal is very caring and involved in the school. They have a very active PTO that meets once a month. Another thing I like is the fact that they offer each child music, art, PE, library, and computers each week. Many area schools do not offer these. Their test scores are the highest of most surrounding schools. They have small class sizes and my one child even goes to a tutor to get extra help with reading. I love this school and so do my kids.

I found this school to be a huge disappointment. My child has multiple handicapped and the school had no programs for him. We ended up doing home instruction and went to the school a few days a week in the afternoons for various services. From my observations while waiting in the office for my son to finish therapy, some of the staff and teachers have no patience for children with any type of difficulties. One teacher came in with a child and told the principal in a very loud voice that she was tired of this child's attitude and behavior and that she wanted him removed from her class. This school had a poster in the hallway stating that there were no children left behind at that school. I have a child that has been left behind due to this school's inability to meet his needs. definately would not recommend.

I have 3 kids that attend Oak Hill Schools. One at the HS and 2 at the elementary. These schools exceed my expectations! Anytime I have questions about ANYTHING they are answered promptly. The teachers are available to talk to about my children. They work WITH me towards goals we have set for them. They make sure they are working toward their full potential. My kids come home feeling great about how their day went. I once heard from a Headstart teacher that a child's mind was like a sponge...the more you filled it the more it would expand. I can honestly say in that sense that Oak Hill Schools is a HUGE watering can! Always ready to expand all those sponges!
