Falls-Lenox Primary Elementary School

My son was new to Falls-Lenox in first grade (fall 2006). I enrolled him because of the excellent reputation of the school and because he has some attentional issues that were not being addressed appropriately in a private school where I was paying a lot of tuition. I got sick of asking for changes that never came. I am a school psychologist myself and thus know what is educationally appropriate for the average student as well as those with needs. My son is now in second grade. I have been very impressed by everyone I have come in contact with at Falls-Lenox. I find more acceptance of differences and respecting others then I ever have in a private school. The expectations and accomodations are educationally appropriate. Communication between teachers and parents is excellent. On a scale of 1-10, I give this school a 12!

I love this school. The teachers and principal are very involved and interested in the students as individuals. They offer resources and council for parents. If there are special needs, they spend as much time with the student and parents as necessary to accommodate those needs. The teachers and staff go out of their way to make sure that each child is made to feel special. The result being a school full of self confident, polite and well-behaved children who want to learn and are learning the value of a good education. The school is neat and clean and is an environment conducive to quality education.
